DAILY PLANET....THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN BURLINGTON

With great food and an eclectic feel, the Daily Planet is a Burlington gem. You'll be surrounded by locals, artists, tourists, and people from all walks of life.

I was impressed with the orb lamps and "out of this world" surroundings they had to offer. There is a dining room that offers a more private dining experience, and there are also outdoor sidewalk tables for the sunny days that can't come soon enough.

Their menu comes in two parts, there's the bar menu that offers things like the "planet burger" and "disco fries", and there's also a dinner menu that offers upscale dishes like the fettucini marsala and chicken and dumplings.

I had the cast iron seared scallops and they were out of this world. I'd definitely recommend them if you're into seafood.

Perhaps most importantly, these guys have a great drink selection. Whether you're a beer person or a wino, you will not have a problem finding your beverage of choice.

THE BEST ITALIAN CUISINE IN TOWN

If you're looking for things to do in Burlington, I'm sure great food is at the top of the list. Be sure to stop by Trattoria Delia and have some authentic Italian cuisine. Their delicious dishes have made them one of the most popular restaurants in the city.
Try the Orecchiette con Fricone e Rucola or the Gnocchi alla Boscaiola. You can't go wrong with their great selections.
Located on 152 Saint Paul Street, be sure to have dinner at Trattoria Delia while you're visiting. You won't regret it!

THE TASTE OF BURLINGTON: MAGIC HAT

Magic Hat is a microbrewery located in South Burlington. With their regular and seasonal brews, they offer fun brewery tours which are always a great time, especially the taste test! Have a Cicus Boy, or Single Chair Ale. They're all great! These Vermont legends make some of the best beers in the country. Try it out and see what all of the fuss is about.

GREAT FOOD AT AMERICAN FLATBREAD

The American Flatbread brewpub and eatery serves exceptional craft beer and pizza. American Flatbread brews beers few brewers have ever imagined, like their Wheat IPA. It's a "hoppy" hefeweizen, or a "wheaty" pale ale.
Pizza is given it's own unique flare here. It's definitely Burlington's finest pizza. With ingredients derived from local farms (and a wide palate), and a wood-fired hearth right in the dining room, this pizza experience rivals any New York City pizza.
If you're looking for things to do in Burlington, don't hesitate, stop by!

NECTAR'S
